How do I find an image? Enter a keyword in the search field in the top right-hand side of any page and click Search. You can fine-tune your search by adding more key words and selecting various categories. But read our search tips first

Can I search without being registered? Yes. You can search and browse Newspix without being registered but you will not see our full range of content as some images have regional restrictions. You can view thumbnails and you can click on them to see a bigger, watermarked medium-resolution image and its associated information. But you cannot download high-res images without being a registered Newspix customer. To register, click here.

How do I get information about an image? To find out resolution, size, photographer and other information about an image, go to the Image Preview page by clicking any thumbnail image.

How big are your images? They vary, but most, when decompressed from jpg to an RGB format, are between 7 MB and 15 MB in size. By clicking on a thumbnail you can call up an Image Preview page which contains detailed information about the image, including its size.

Do I need to register to purchase? Yes. Click here for more information on how to become a Newspix user.

How much do images cost? Newspix pricing is competitive. Prices vary according to usage. Click for more information on pricing or contact Newspix direct at newspix@newsltd.com.au

Can I get the picture now and pay later? Yes. Newspix sends out invoices at the end of each month. Invoices list all transactions you have made in that month.

What’s a Newspix package? We bundle up related text and images, and sometimes other content such as graphics or PDFs, and sell them as one package. These packages are generally suitable for features use. For more information on packages click here
