How to Download Pictures

Please note, a maximum of 25 images can be downloaded at one time

Click on any thumbnail image to see a larger low-res version. If that's a picture you want, click the purchase image button.

Here you can confirm your profile and billing address and which project you are purchasing the image for. The project will determine the cost of the image. You can also add comment and a Purchase Order (PO) number against the image, which will be shown in your Transaction History and on your final invoice.
You will then be asked to confirm the image placement.
Then click the 'confirm placement' button. You can also edit your selection of images by ticking the image and clicking on 'remove selected'.

Confirm pricing. This will show the cost of licensing the image, if your project has not yet had pricing confirmed by Newspix staff, the amount will read TBA.
Then click 'purchase images' to confirm the amount shown. You can also edit your selection of images by clicking on the 'edit selection' button.

Now that your image has been purchased, you just need to download it. Click on the 'download image zip file' button and a Zip file containing a JPG image and a text file containing the caption will download to your PC. Depending on your connection, this can take from a few seconds to a minute. The JPG image will decompress to an RGB file usually ranging in size from 7MB to 15 MB.

Downloading from a lightbox is similar. Once in the Lightbox view click the 'purchase lightbox' button or tick your selection of images and click on the 'purchase selected' button. Then follow the downloading steps 1 to 3 as outlined above.

Handy hint: On your Transaction History you will find a list of pictures you have purchased. Alongside each is a "Purchase Again" button. You will not be double-billed if you purchase and download the same image again in any one month, unless you change the project the image is downloaded against. You can print your Transaction History to attach to your invoice. It is best printed in landscape format.
