Outback Wrangler Matt Wright has sold off his share of Top End tourism venture Outback Floatplane Adventures to prioritise filming and catching crocodiles.
Wright officially sealed the deal last month, handing over the entire business to partner Troy Thomas.
“Time-wise it’s been good for me to be able to concentrate on Outback Wrangler and Troy’s pretty stoked to be able to take over Outback Floatplanes,” Wright said. “It’s a good thing. I’ll still drop in from time to time and check in on the crocs, I’ve still got my camp out there that I run, and I’ve still got my tourism stuff but that’ll occupy pretty much 100 per cent of my time.”
Wright and Mr Thomas launched Outback Floatplanes about five years ago, after the Outback Wrangler was inspired by Mr Thomas’ WA-based business model.
