Insta-sisters and Base Body Babes duo Felicia Oreb and Diana Johnson are phenomenally fit, but you’ll never see them embracing the word #fitspo. The girls, who specialise in training women, say they see the growing online “fitspiration” movement as potentially damaging.
“We don’t love the word ‘fitspo’ and don’t like to consider ourselves that,” Oreb said at the launch of New Balance’s Fresh Foam LAZR shoes yesterday. “It can have negative connotations and can be quite unhealthy and we don't want anyone to have an unhealthy obsession with their lifestyle or take it too far.”
