A powerful domestic violence message has been sent through body art in Footscray.
The exhibition, If These Walls Could Talk, was created by almost 100 Victoria University students last week who used body paint to camouflage 20 models against a background of intricate wallpaper panels.
As the painting progressed, over a period of six hours for each model, they faded into the background of the wallpaper.
The idea is steeped in symbolism to highlight the faceless victims of abuse.
