The traditional meat pie has received a “fare-dinkum” upgrade with a shot of Australia’s favourite spread.
Iconic Aussie pie maker Four n’ Twenty has added Vegemite-spiked gravy to the classic meat pastry to create a mite-y tasty mouthful.
To launch the Vegemite pie, the company has announced a sponsorship deal with Australian Football Women’s League stars Tayla Harris and Daisy Pearce.
“My two favourite foods have finally come together,” Pearce said. “For me, this is a bit of a game changer, for the (footy) industry and for my tastebuds.”
