An Easter miracle baby rabbit is the celebration of a Geelong veterinary practice after surviving despite being rejected by its mother while only hours old.
Bellarine Veterinary Practice clinic co-ordinator Natalie Dorain said the little kit had less than a 10 per cent chance of survival before she decided to hand raise the baby.
The blue-eyed bunny named Juney Bug weighed only 30g on arrival at the Newcomb practice.
“With his scruffy fur and cute little hop, we have all fallen in love with him,” Ms Dorain said. “Aside from chocolate eggs, we think he’s the most adorable thing you’ll see this Easter.”
