A tiny Melbourne kitten is living proof that dogs have owners and cats have staff.
Pocket moggy Sansa become an overnight internet sensation thanks to the dutiful actions of her attentive human “staff member” Amber Nadinic.
When the three-week old kitten had a little accident after trying out solid foods Ms Nadinic came running.
Ms Nadinic had been caring for Sansa and her three siblings since they were abandoned by their mother.
She decided to film the clean-up as she bathed then dried Sansa with a hair dryer and gentle strokes of a toothbrush mirroring a mother cat’s lick. “With kittens, you have to make sure they’re very dry afterwards, because they get sick very quickly, hence the hair dryer and the toothbrush for the long-haired kitty cat.”
The video went viral, warming the hearts of animal lovers around the world through hundreds of thousands of views.
Ms Nadinic fosters kittens for Pets Haven, and runs Instagram account @kitty_fostering_oz with updates on her foster fur babies. Sansa and her litter mates would not have survived without Ms Naninic’s help.
