Brendan Fevola has been told he’s got a big head at various stages through his colourful life, but he never thought it would land him a fashion ambassador role.
The former footy bad boy and new Neighbours cast member has signed on as the face of a new range of sunglasses designed specifically for blokes with large noggins.
“I got approached by my manager to be an ambassador for a brand and I thought, ‘Well this is my time, I’ve made it. I’m going to be an ambassador’,” he says.
“Alex (his wife) thinks it’s really funny. She was like ‘they’re really cool’. I thought I’d be gracing the catwalks and got told I’d be doing a shoot with someone else and I thought, ‘Oh it could be Jen Hawkins or Megan Gale, but no it was the dog and me.”
The tongue-in-cheek campaign for the new Boofhedz sunglass range, which is sized five to 12mm wider than average, features an Aussie bulldog as CEO.
