Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, that’s Santa abseiling down Eureka Tower. The man in red dropped down to spread some Christmas cheer at the tower yesterday, hanging outside the 88th floor. Santa even managed to fill his sack full of goodies and hand out some presents to lucky children visiting the Eureka Skydeck. “Since Mrs Claus has got everything under control back at the North Pole, I thought I’d get some practice in at Eureka Tower and work out how I’m going to get in the building on Christmas Eve,” Santa said. “What a lovely view from outside the building. I could almost see all the good boys and girls all across Melbourne. I’d better stick to my sleigh though!”
