For nine-month-old koala joey Cass, a day at koala school means learning what leaves to eat — and which ones to avoid. The keepers at Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park have become surrogate mums, teaching her all about life as a koala. The adorable joey isn’t a typical orphan, in fact she was born as part of the wildlife park’s breeding program. She even spent the first few months of life in her mum’s pouch. But unfortunately Cass’s mum didn’t take well to parenthood.
