South Australian COVID-19vaccine researchers will benefit from a Federal Government grant to promote a number of biomedical projects. Health Minister Greg Hunt will today announce more than $10m in funding for 13 projects through an arm of the Medical Research Future Fund. A potential coronavirus vaccine being developed in Adelaide is among five coronavirus research projects which will receive a share of $4.1m. Vaxine chairman and research director Professor Nikolai Petrovsky, pictured, said the $1m grant would move them “one step closer to the ultimate goal”.
