Gamble, pictured, was forced to take down her single, Classy, after a musician contacted her to say the music on the track was written by him. She wrote the song’s lyrics. Her former record producer took responsibility for the error. Gamble told Confidential: “You look like a really bad person, putting someone else’s work out. I’m an independent artist, so it was all on my head. It was blatant copyright. I released a single I had no right releasing. I was so upset I thought my hair would start breaking off.” She added: “I spent $2800 getting the song out to all the pop stations, which is a lot of money when you don’t know where your next wage is coming from.” Gamble deleted the track from streaming platforms and contacted APRA about the mistake.
