As Jariyah Ann’s beloved Sphynx cat Khaleesi endured an 18-hour labour, there was a time where she thought she may never get to hold the litter of kittens.
Khaleesi gave birth to the first kitten of the litter successfully at the family’s Bellamack home, but shortly after Mrs Ann became worried when it became apparent the contractions had stopped.
The labour process from first contractions to the birth of the last kitten were an arduous 18 hours for Khaleesi and Mrs Ann, who sadly lost two of the little ones in the process.
