South Australian zoos will be poised to roar back to life once restrictions are lifted with the Federal Government today unveiling a $94.6 million support package to help pay for the care of animals. Tourism Minister Simon Birmingham said the support would help more than 100 attractions nationwide get through the COVID-19 crisis. “It’s crucial SA’s iconic zoos and wildlife sanctuaries can continue to operate on the other side of the pandemic,” he said.
