Four years since surviving the Lindt Cafe siege, Selina Win Pe is forging a legacy of love, support and courage
Selina Win Pe opens the door to her Mosman home with a beaming smile and open arms. Outwardly she is almost overflowing with vibrancy, and, if you didn’t know she had experienced a traumatic life-altering event, you may not think it a possibility.
But below the surface, the scars are raw and memories fresh of the night of the December 2014 Lindt Cafe siege, where she was the last to be evacuated after 17 hours of harrowing captivity at the hands of extremist Man Haron Monis.
