Peter Andre is a British-Australian musician and media personality. Andre was born in London in 1973 and his family emigrated to Australia when he was 6-years-old. By the time he was 16, Andre had written many songs, some co-written with his older brothers. Peter Andre first came to public attention in 1990 when he appeared as a contestant on the Australian talent show Hey Hey It's Saturday’s 'New Faces', where he was offered a recording contract live on Australian television. Andre's debut single, 'Gimme Little Sign' was released in 1992 and reached number three in the Australian charts, with his debut self-titled album following shortly after. His popularity increased when he released 'Mysterious Girl', which was a hit in the UK and Australia alike, and he toured all over the world, collecting a multitude of national and international awards along the way. Andre's next album ‘Natural’ was also a number one hit, as were the next two singles, 'Flava' and 'I Feel You'. After a break from the public eye, Peter Andre returned when he appeared on the British reality television series ‘I'm A Celebrity. Get Me Out Of Here!’ in 2004. Peter Andre came third in the competition and began a relationship with co-contestant model Katie Price (also known as Jordan), who he was later married to for several years. Andre went on to become one of the UK’s most popular celebrities with successful projects and reality shows. In 2010 Andre completed a sell-out UK Arena Tour including selling out London’s 02 Arena. In 2010 Andre was named ‘Britain’s Hardest Working Singer’ by PR’s after performing to almost 100,000 fans.
