Malnourished and dehydrated, this baby is unrecognisable from the joey she was two weeks ago, when she first arrived in the hands of Wildlife Carer Madonna O’Brien.
The roo was named Medika, the Aboriginal meaning for Blossom, and she has done exactly so all thanks to the selfless care and constant attention Mrs O’Brien has provided.
After being found abandoned by her mother in Ipswich, the animal was retrieved and stabilised by RSPCA’s Wildlife Hospital and then sent to Mrs O’Brien.
